Sorry Yankee haters...

The MLB Season is fast-approaching. Majority of the teams from both the AL and NL have had a fruitful offseason. Most of them did a really good job in filling in holes in the line up and in upgrading their respective bullpens. Last year, after all that's been said and done, the Gold relocated to Boston...and the "curse" is officially over (at last!). Yankee lovers, like me, shouldn't be grateful since it happened at our expense but there were certainly good things behind the Sox victory. One big thing is that the pressure to beat Boston is somewhat gone, now the focus is to dethrone the "kings". Look out Sox (and any other team in the league), this season is going to be a Yankee season.

With all the upgrades that happened in the league, whether you like it or not, money is still very much the key. So what if we overspend? The bottom line is that we will be champions. It's just an indication on how serious we are to be the champs. And this season, it will be different from the past half-decade of baseball-- all those spendings will produce better results. We will be champs once again!

Personally, I look out for Giambi to have a breakout season despite the 'roid saga surrounding him. I'm pretty much sure he'll use it to his advantage. All eyes will surely be on him, so why not use the opportunity to have an MVP season. A-Rod and Matsui will also be powerhouses this year. And the rotation--yes, the rotation which is a major problem last season, will be much tougher and I mean TOUGH really TOUGH!

So what now Yankee haters? See ya at the ballgame!
