Who's the Hotter Red?

After humiliating the best in the Al, the Red Sox look to complete an improbable quest this time looking to do the same against NL's and Major League's best team in the regular season. Both teams are coming off separate exciting series as the Sox rallied from an 0-3 hole to end the Yankee dynasty in the AL with a Game & drubbing of the most hated rival. While the Cards defended Busch Stadium by winning the last two games of the NLCS at home.

The adrenaline is still up for both teams--enough reason to expect much from this series. Look for both teams to slug it out right at the very first inning of this series. The major difference that will determine the fate of this year's Fall Classic will be pitching and defense as both teams proved that they are awesome offensive teams.

And no offend to Sox Nation (the Yanks don't have anything to do bout this) but I'm rooting for the Cardinals to win this one. After what has happened to the Yankees and after listening to your sentiments about the free-spending Bombers of the Bronx, I'm starting to like the NL against the AL teams. And St. Louis has all the weapons of a champion team withoout spending that much. What do you think?

Cards in 7!

I'm going to love this Series whoever wins. I'd like to see the Red Sox pull it out, but ANYTHING is better than last year's series; seeing the Cubs AND the Sox go down in the LCS' prompted me to not give a care in the world.

What position do you think will make the difference in this series? How big will the DH rule affect the outcome of this series?

I want the BoSox to win, but logic says Cards....Let's hope logic is wrong.

I'm going to be in boston during the series. I want to go if i can find a ticket under $500.00 which means i'll probably be hanging out in some bar near fenway watching the game.

Cards WIN! Cards WIN!

The DH rule plays in favor of the card I believe. They have some good bats on the bench. In the National League park the AL pitchers have a distinct disadvantage. They have to Stand in the batters box.
